Sustainability Initiatives

Goal 1: No Poverty

We believe in the power of collective action to eradicate poverty. That’s why we actively participate in clothing drives and other initiatives to support those in need. By contributing to these efforts, we hope to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families experiencing poverty.

Goal 2: Zero Hunger

We understand the urgency of addressing hunger and food insecurity. To combat this issue, we organize food drives and actively participate in an annual Thanksgiving Meal Program. By working together, we can make a meaningful impact and ensure that no one goes hungry.

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being

The health and well-being of our employees and the communities we serve are of utmost importance to us. We provide various resources and initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle, including an on-site Wellness Coach, blood drives, on-site flu shots, cancer support days, and autism awareness days. By prioritizing well-being, we aim to create a positive and thriving environment for everyone.

Goal 4: Quality Education

We understand the importance of education and its impact on society. That’s why we support initiatives such as the Red Oak Child Development Center, Back-to-School drive, Print & Graphics Scholarship donation, and donations to the Keystone Opportunity Center. By investing in education, we empower future generations and promote lifelong learning.

Goal 5: Gender Equality

Supporting gender equality is at the core of our values. We are proud to have initiatives like “Women in Manufacturing” that empower women in our industry. By fostering an inclusive and diverse environment, we aim to create equal opportunities for everyone.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We are proud to participate in the Ecovadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assessment, the leading CSR assessment and rating system in the industry. This year, Fres-co was awarded a Silver Medal. Fres-co continuously strives to increase awareness within our company and with external stakeholders of our impact at all levels of CSR (Environment, Labor, Procurement, and Ethics).

Each year, Fres-co organizes activities to contribute to our communities: from our “Clean the Road” and Landfill Free initiatives to a Food Drive and School Drive to help those in need. Fres-co also works on limiting our environmental footprint by reducing waste and using energy from renewable sources. Every day, Fres-co commits to improving our work environment with clear and fair policies and initiatives to sustain continuous learning and training on safety.
